Associate Professor with over 30 years of cross-functional experience across energy systems, hybrid renewable technologies (wind/solar), computing, and applied data science. My career bridges practical technical education, doctoral and post-doctoral research, and senior executive governance.
Starting with a technical education background in computer systems, I completed my Ph.D. at the Solar Energy Institute followed by postdoctoral research at Brunel University London. Over three decades, I have served in technical, academic, and administrative leadership roles at the Ministry of National Education, Dokuz Eylül University, and Manisa Celal Bayar University.
As Director of a Vocational School, I managed the end-to-end development of a new academic campus—from initial design and facility build-out to full commissioning and academic launch. Beyond operations, I have shaped institutional governance through roles on the University Senate, Strategic Planning Committee, and Quality Assurance Commission, including securing institutional Erasmus accreditation and directing national evaluation frameworks.
What distinguishes my technical leadership is hands-on execution. In renewable energy projects, I work directly in the field: from structural welding and electrical panel integration to active pitch control electromechanics, wind turbine overhauls, grid interconnections, and commissioning tests under strict HSE/LOTO standards.
